I look at her, the redhead beauty, and know she is to be my next canvas.It had been a fortnight since I ceased my last project: a cute girl, innocent and fair until I started with her. She had been fun to toy with for a year or so, but you can only force a girl to degrade herself a finite number of times before you achieve a diminishing return on the enjoyment. I left her to work in a strip club, a nice bit of irony considering she was raised to think lust is a sin.That is beside the point, however. What matters now is the redhead staring at me, forgetting about the drink in front of her.“You there,” I say, “What is your name?”“Irene,” she replies without a hint of emotion. I give her a once over and appraise her appearance. She’s dressed to nicely for this time of day. Her tight green dress and make-up seem more fitting for an evening soiree than brunch in a diner. Not that it’s a dingy diner, mind you, but that’s hardly the point.“Irene, eh? Tell me, what are you doing here?”“I’m meeting my fiancé. We’re celebrating because he received a promotion.” Her face is still blank, devoid of any and all emotion, but I can see a sparkle of pride and love in her stunning eyes. Perfect.I place my cutlery on the plate in front of me and gather my things. “Not anymore,” I respond, “You’re going to forget all about your fiancé and come home with me.” I look up to see the sparkle drain from her eyes as she stands and walks towards me. “Everyone else, carry on with what you were doing and forget we were ever here!”As if someone hit play on a remote, the diner returns to its usual self, bursting with noise and banter. I hold the door open and spank Irene as she walks through.“Don’t do that,” she barks and turns to me, “I don’t like it.”I smile as the door closes behind me. “Don’t be silly,” I reply, “You love being spanked, especially in public.”She smiles and bites her lower lip. “Mmm, I do,” she purrs with a naughty twinkle in her eye, “Can you do it again?”This is going to be a fun year.A perfect example of ‘the Kilgrave technique’ of mind control in action.
