sandseaskysunskinsex:quotelounge: I can relate to this… And if you don’t get out and have experiences, you will never be chosen… As a woman in her forties, my passions eventually began to bubble and boil to the surface without those experiences. No one showed me some magic book of ‘Passion Potions’. That stuff cannot help but to surface. You can’t force a passion any more than an experience that embodies one. I guess what I am saying is that as much as I like these, don’t let them dictate or discourage you, or especially, discount how you feel about where you are heading in life just because you haven’t had that certain ‘experience’ you may be passionate about. Please. I mean no disrespect. I had no idea half of mine was in me until a couple years ago. I started to really self reflect. I was completely raw and stripped down, mentally, and I guess that’s just how I needed to be in order to embrace everything that I am as well as everything that I am not. The other half of mine was stashed away on purpose. Those things I buried so deeply, I had to learn how to tap into them again. Retraining myself to let go and relax, well, I’m still learning and growing. I still have yet to do much of what I have discovered. It’s not going any where. I have no intention of rushing it just to put check marks on a list. It’s not quite that simple, is it? This is lasting emotion, lifestyle change, and self awareness that one can’t just brush off once they’ve achieved it. The goal is to maintain it once it’s attained … Passion drives me thoroughly. ~MyDarkAngel2Pls (aka hptals) -- source link
