“We embraced, said goodbye, and turned to ashes at the end of that road.”I’m sorry that the pictures take up so much place …… but I think this makes the best effectThis one was drawn at the beginning of this year (so now there really seems to be a lot of bugs) and I have forgotten to post it there——————The only thing that came to mind at first was p1’s “little brother” , but after thinking about Mags’ eyes, the rest of the scene suddenly appeared Then I went along with the thought and painted down …… Looking back, what I wanted to express was probably Maglor’s “witness" on the fate of his elder brother. This "witness” is where Mae/Mags attract me most, for they were the two people who had been together with each other for the longest time in Feanorian - walking together through glory and blood, chasing the unfulfilled wish of sorrow, holding each other tightly while falling to the abyss…The impression Maedhros left for future generations should mostly be his persistence, craziness and the sorrowful ending, but in the “eyes” of Mags - he viewed Mae as an older brother, rememberd Mae’s determination to take responsibility for his brothers, his exhaustion, pain, sacrifice, and unyielding soul …… until the end.“They were the first two, and the last two.“ -- source link
