melanin-diary: I’m so excited to see this. A historical woman becomes an inspiration for art like this and i really hope to see this soon. Harriet Tubman was a humanitarian, a hero, a leader, who risked her life and saved so many black people. She made countless journeys and never once lost a passenger. Even after the Emancipation Proclamation she helped those in need, raised money to open schools for African Americans and gave speeches on Women’s rights. She was a true hero and she really is an inspiration. -- source link
