cacodaemonia:cacodaemonia: EDIT 2022/05/07: Okay so I absolutely cringe every time I see the old version of this image (which I replaced with the updated one above). I was still playing around with TCW’s geometric style when I painted it, but the way I picture the characters in my head has changed a lot since then. Every time I see the CG models or my art based on them I’m like, “Gah, who are they?? D:” Sooooo I’ve spent many frustrating hours recently fixing some of this. I redid the faces entirely, made Boil’s legs shorter and his torso longer (he’s slouching but like, not that much), and got rid of the can-cell because there were just too many pets, haha. I still don’t like the stiff plastic mannequin feel of it all, but it’s better than it was, anyway.Reminder: I don’t interact on Tumblr, so if you’d like me to see anything, please comment on AO3.+++This goes along with the last TCW image I finished because it’s in the same “everyone lives/nobody dies (Except Palps and Krell)” canon-divergent AU, which I’m just calling the Reconstruction Corps AU. The text accompanying that image explain the basic idea for the AU.After the war ends and the clones attain citizenship, Waxer and Boil leave the now-voluntary GAR and travel to Ryloth to find Numa. She’s been living with her uncle, so Waxer and Boil settle down in a house on the outskirts of Nabat and eventually integrate themselves into the community, which proves beneficial for everyone. Long story short, Numa eventually comes to live with them and their growing menagerie of strays. And they live happily ever after. *glaring at Dave Filoni*@crystalshard wrote a fic to go with this!! Self-reblog of some ooooold art I updated. See the ‘EDIT’ note below the image ↑Reminder: I don’t interact on Tumblr, so if you’d like me to see anything, please comment on AO3. -- source link
