artsyunderstudy: In honor of Mermay, I read When the Tides Held the Moon by @vkelleyart I have to say that this fic had an impact. It was just beautiful, from the story to the prose and art, and the absolutely breathtaking ending. I really don’t cry when I read. It’s VERY difficult to get me to cry, but I was getting a bit soppy by the end of this one. So, thanks for the feelings. Here’s my expression of love in artistic form. Oh… oh holy heck…. I’m so gobsmacked at this gorgeous piece of art, I hardly know what to say! This story is so special to me, and seeing it continue to resonate with folks two years after it launched on AO3 feels surreal and validating and a little like ‘the currents’ are exerting some influence, because I’m in story edits LITERALLY as we speak to turn WTTHTM into an original work for publication.Honestly, I can’t thank you enough for this.
