As you may not of known, on February 14th, 2021 Sir Ari Gold passed away after a long battle with leukemia. He is known to JEM fans as the singing voice for Ba Nee with her song “A Father Should Be” as well as being a frequent honored guest to Jemcon. As Jemzine #3 is centered around the beloved music of the cartoon, we felt it would be perfect to dedicate this issue in his memory.He was a proud gay Jewish man and the world is darker without him.
