tamigurumi: My newest Neko Atsume Christmas ornament :) To make the cat, follow my pattern below. The stocking pattern is by Whistle and Ivy and can be found at the following link: https://www.whistleandivy.com/2015/11/crochet-stocking-advent-calendar-cal-day-1.html Cat Pattern: Use G hook and worsted weight yarn. Head Row 1: 6 sc in MR Row 2: 2sc in each st (12 st) Row 3: 1sc, 2sc in same st, repeat (18st) Rows 4-9: Sc around (18 st) Row 10: 1 sc, decrease, repeat (12st) Stuff head with poly fill. Row 11: Decrease 6 times (6 st) Fasten off and sew closed. Turn sideways, sew on black beads for eyes and using black sportweight yarn, embroider nose and mouth. Ears In MR, 2 sc, chain 2, make picot by doing a slip stitch into the first of the two chains, and then two more sc in the ring. Tighten ring, fasten off, and leave a tail long enough to sew to head. Paws 6 sc in magic ring. Row 1: Sc in each stitch (6 st) Rows 2-4: Repeat Row 1 (6 st) Fasten off and leave tail to sew onto stocking. Assembly Sew paws to top edge of stocking. Sew ears to top of head. Stuff stocking with poly fill and sew head over top of stocking.
