A fall cleansing. While Branden embarked upon a great adventure with the guys I decided to take the time to do a small cleanse. A refresh to go along with the changing of seasons. A time for me to reflect within myself and acknowledge what is and is not working for me and my body. A time to break the habits, patterns, and routines that we find ourselves slipping into. A time to listen to my body and my intuition and not my mind or my belly. We eat pretty close to this way most of the time but it is the habits and routines that I most wanted to break out of on this cleanse. Maybe not eating just because its “__:__” time or having a bigger meal for lunch and a juice for dinner. Or not being so rigid by limiting myself to just straight juices or 100% raw. Making more time for digestion and really chewing every little bite, even of the juices. I also tried to do one good thing for myself and honor my body every day of my 5 day cleanse.
