The team are in The Hub now, near Edinburgh Castle, setting up for the Silent Auction for Syria tonight at 7pm. Silent Auction: Bidding Process Guests are encouraged to look at all the items that are on display Noting which item(s) they wish to bid on they must then head to the bid table Bidding opens at 7:30pm Guests are asked to fill out a bid card with all the relevant details Guest must hand their bid card back to a volunteer at the bid table Bids will be logged on the private bid sheets Guests are allowed to bid as many times as they wish Highest Item bids will be shown on the large screen Guests can check back at the bid table should they wish to be reminded of their last bid. Bidding will close at 9pm Winning announcements will be made at 9:45pm Winners must check in at the Bid table post announcements to pay in full for their items (credit cards & Cheques both acceptable) Winners are able to take their items away once they have paid in full. Receipts can be emailed to guests post event (please take email for this) Larger items can be picked up from Judy R Clark’s studio post event.
