St Peter’s Church.Just part of the fabulous Victorian stained glass panels that make up the 3 large windows in St. Peter’s Church in the centre of Chester - now a Christian Ecumenical Centre, there has been a church on this site since 907AD when Ethelfleda, daughter of King Alfred the Great founded the church. The whole ground floor of the church is now laid out as a cafe - A cup of coffee & a scone with jam & cream at a reasonable price, sitting in a 1000 year old site (although, most of what you see dates only from the 14th & 19th centuries!) what on earth could be better?Chester, Cheshire, England September 2015All images shot on Nikon D300 17-55 f2.8G -- source link
