sexysci-fi: Imprint Guide No.1The Straight Clone ImprintThis imprint exists in an adjacent universe to the one’s in which ‘morphing’ takes place. In this story line you can be cloned by scanning yourself into a cloning cubicle. That cubicle can then manufacture an unlimited amount of your clones, who are identical to the you that was scanned in. This is a non-destructive form of cloning, and does not require anyone else to be overwritten. This technique was discovered during the research of teleportation machines. In a teleporter a person is scanned, then recreated in a different location using another teleporter cubicle. At the exact same instant the person in the first cubicle is destroyed. The replicating technique is so perfect, right down to the quantum level, that the fact the teleportee is not the original is incidental. Indeed by the late 21st century people’s attitudes had advanced to the point where originality was not considered an issue. It turned out that some people like the idea of cloning their sexual partners. This resulted in some interesting and spectacular sexual cloned escapades, and once the porn this generated saturated the online community the idea of cloning became very popular. Primarily as a tool for exploring ones sexual possibilities. It was initially an expensive procedure, kept artificially inflated due to a fear of overpopulation. However, once space colonization became more feasible it became clear that beaming people’s teleporter patterns to distant planets was easier than sending the people themselves. This resulted in space explorers never having to leave Earth, at least in their original form. Once they’d passed the tests to colonize a planet, all that was needed was a teleporter cubicle on that planet and any number of successful candidate could be replicated out of the same machine. This sometimes resulted in planets being populated by just one couple, but cloned in their thousands. The footage that got back to Earth put our native clone porn to shame, and made the originals on Earth both celebrities, and jealous of their own far flung clones. -- source link
