Of the many things I lost when I moved was a doll from the disney store of Esmeralda from when the movie first came out in the 90′s. I found Quasimodo, Ariel, Mulan, Belle, and Snow White. My Disney Fairies collection was almost destroyed in the move but I repaired them, Jane Darling lost the sheer outer layer of her nightgown; Tinkerbell, Lily, and Beck also lost their sheer layers, and Fira lost the flowers in her hair, but still. All things considered, not too bad.I got my first dose of the vaccine today, and figured since the damage was done that I was already exposed to the mall (it was in a vacant department store in a mall a county over from where I live, and I had to walk through it to get to the clinic) I walked around for a few minutes (went into a Box Lunch store for the first time, which was surreal. Like a Disney store but they sell Avatar and anime shit too???) BUT ANYWAY….they had a Disney Store Oulet, so while it lacked the nostalgic attraction of having cartoon characters climbing out of the walls, it still had some stuff…..and it had Esmeralda. And they were a 3-for deal today. They never made a Meg doll in the 90s, at least not that I ever saw, no matter how badly I wanted one as a girl (my aunt was a decent artist, and drew a paper doll of her for me (traced her off the TV screen, and then drew costumes. Dark Ages, my dude.) but it wasn’t the same. Also I’ve never seen a Wendy doll??????? -- source link
