Jonathan Harrington was the youngest member of the Lexington militia company at sixteen years old when he played the fife at the Battle of Lexington in 1775. He was also the last survivor, dying at the age of 95 in 1854, and the only witness of the first shot of the Revolution to be photographed. -- source link
