Crack Shots, 1875In the later 1800’s long range marksmenship competitions sported the oddest shooting positions, as marksmen tried everything to maintain the most stability, balance, and accuracy. As time progressed individual teams sported their own positions, claiming it to be the most efficient and accurate postion. The American team, labeled E.
