Lula (Luis Inacio Lula da Silva) is the former president of Brasil imprisoned on “corruption” charges by radical right-wing forces in that country. Arguably the most democratic country in Latin America (its only real competition is Costa Rica), Uruguay has lively political discussions and gives support to democratic movements in other Latin America states. In 2019 there was graffiti supporting the recently deposed Evo Morales of Boivia as well as Lula. -- source link
