Sorting through my wood stores is a bit like nostalgically flicking through a photo album, remembering each of the trees from which the wood came. For the wood geeks, included in my wood stores are Betula pendula (Silver Birch), Ilex aquifolium (Holly), Acer pseudoplatanus (Maple), Acer platanoides (Sycamore), Pyrus communis (Pear), Juglans regia (Walnut), Malus x domestica (Apple), Myrtus communis (Myrtle), Quercus robur (English Oak), Corylus avellana (Hazel)… mostly foraged and found locally in Lancashire or in my wood in Snowdonia, North Wales with a few more exotic pieces donated by friends. https://www.instagram.com/p/CHIo34Zj-dP/?igshid=11pwo0u6e3vfz -- source link
