DISABLE EA STUFF FROM RANDOMA mini tutorial. Because my life changed when I did this a while ago. Using this tutorial, you can achieve the following things:game-generated walkby sims and other strangers won’t have nonsense outfits anymore and will make more sensepressing the randomize buttons in CAS won’t give you sims that have bracelets, hats and other unwanted things that you’ll just end up removing and re-doing anyway, ultimately saving time and sanitySince taking the time to do this, a lot of things have felt more convenient and less silly. Since I couldn’t find a specific tutorial for doing this from a quick google I thought I’d show you how. It’s easy!Open up Sims4Studio.Under the ‘CAS’ button, click the ‘Override’ option. Then click the CAS button to open up the part picker.Select the accessory, facial hair, clothes, etc that you want to stop being added to game-generated sims. You can shift-click to select all of the colors of the part, you will need to do this if you want them all to stop, so make sure they’re all selected.Name your package and Save it.On the next screen, go to Categories, and scroll all the way down to ‘Part Flags’. It should have an option that says ‘Allow for Random’. Untick this box, and then click ‘Apply to All Swatches’.Save the package. That’s it! Now when you add that package to your Mods folder, that part shouldn’t show up on townies or CAS-randomized sims anymore.Because not everyone will agree which parts should and shouldn’t be disabled, it’s best to go through and do this yourself to the parts you don’t like. You can be as selective or extreme as you want. I personally did it to every accessory and hat in the game, as well as several hairs and pieces of clothing. It may seem intimidating but overall it only took me about 2 hours while I was watching tv to do it for every accessory etc for every age group. So if you’re not doing them all, it’ll be even faster. Some other things to note:You can merge these override packages together. I did, for convenience because I ended up having dozens of these override packages. These may or may not show up in the CAS catalog with a Custom Content ‘wrench’ icon, because these EA parts are now, technically, custom content due to the override. As far as I know there’s no way to avoid this. (If you don’t want to see wrench icons at all for any content, you can download the CAS Wrench Icon Remover at S4S).Anyway, hope that was helpful. I found this very simple to do and now I don’t have silly townies anymore. -- source link
