What ghostly apparition rests in your palm? Why, that is a pale sheep Frog [Hypopachus variolosus], a very small species that is rarely seen above ground. Frogs listed as being Hypopachus variolosus often exhibit great variation in color, pattern, and toe length; this has led some to speculate that the name actually encompasses a species complex, in need of further classification.
