I wasn’t certain of the genre when I acquired my copy of Kerri Turner’s The Last Days of the Romanov Dancers, set in Saint Petersburg’s ballet world during the Russian Revolution. While it’s published by Harlequin Australia the cover is clearly reaching for audiences beyond romance readers. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for a good blend of history and love crowned by an HEA. Auspiciously, the author is a ballet teacher who also made a research trip to Russia. -- source link
