lialiakicks: Can we just take a moment to talk about Rin… He is going through so much feels it HURTS to watch him suffer. ): And worst off, he basically put himself in this situation. Rin is surrounded by people yet he is alone. He has a nice captain, an adoring teammate who is also his roommate, a “powerhouse” team who seem to get along…. but no one he can call friend. Rin seems like the kind of person who openly expresses himself, but by the looks of it, he hasn’t done so in a long time. The guy isolated himself from his childhood friends thinking that it’ll help him reach his goal when all he really did was create a huge stumbling block for himself. I previously mentioned that I wasn’t sure how this show will end— and I’m still not completely sure. However, I do know that I would love to see Rin open up to Haruka, Makoto and Nagisa again. I want Rin to quit concealing his feelings and just let it out already— cry if he needs to— and then openly express himself with the Iwatobi crew. I want to see Rin help Rei improve his butterfly and give the kid some pointers. I want Rin to accept that he and Haruka are different and that’s okay. I want Rin to move closer to accomplishing his dream. Rin has so many great qualities and like any other fan— I would love to see him grow and mature for the better. I want Rin to be free!
