epicdndmemes:Problem Solved I like that! For me atheism in DnD simply doesn’t exist as a worldview stance, because existence of deities is something documented. People are granted arcane talents and can perform actual powerful gestures to prove it, there are ways one can research and follow to have either a holy or dark patron. Religiousness is not about believing gods exist, but about which one you worship if any. Someone suggests in comments atheists are flat-earthers of DnD cause it would be fun, but as an atheist who have heard before it’s a sign of brain damage, I can’t imagine how.Atheism rejects existence of gods based on lack of proof for them, and based on research showing man-madeness of holy books. Based on scientific knowledge. Flat-earthism rejects evidence and rejects scientific knowledge, often because a similar mechanism that makes people overly religious and bigoted.
