After much (and much) deliberation, I finally bought the #KrisKrafter #yarntwister. The purpose of this device is to twist and combine two or more strands of yarns, making a whole new yarn. Can you technically just knit/crochet by just piggy backing the yarn strands? Of course. But by doing it that way, you may end up with an uneven distribution of the colors, if combining more than two colors. This promises to make that color distribution more even. Personally, I don’t mind the uneven color distribution because I think it gives the item more character, thereby making it more unique. But of course, I just have to have this, just in case.
