In 2009, two brothers, 28-year-old Timur and 23-year-old Marat from Perm, Russia, reported their older brother, Rafis, missing to the police. However, the police became suspicious when the brothers were vague when giving details about Rafis’s sudden disappearance. As a result, they raided their home where they discovered a human skeleton buried in the garden. The skeleton had been completely removed of flesh. Immediately, both brothers confessed to murdering and eating their brother, Rafis. Timur said he had eaten Rafis because he couldn’t face going back to prison where he had just served a total of 10 years for murdering his next-door neighbour. “Yes, we decided to eat it. I didn’t want to go back, so we cut off his head and buried it, and cut his body into pieces and kept it in the refrigerator. We cooked and ate it for six months,” he added. Timur later said that Rafis was to blame for his imprisonment as he handed him over to the police for the murder but Marat took Timur’s side in the dispute and ever since, they despised Rafis and held a grudge against him for what he did which ultimately resulted in the brutal murder of him. When Timur arrived home after being released from prison, an argument erupted between him and Rafis. During the fight, Marat intervened and together, Timur and Marat beat Rafis to death. -- source link
