Complete. This painting has been somewhat hanging over me for a while… started in earnest, let go of, restarted, put away, ignored, moved, ignored again… the revised, renewed and completed. The landscape - this landscape - has an ever present hand in my work, and whilst I don’t think it benefits my evolution as a painter to always be turned towards it, it stands to be re-engaged with when necessary.
