Nicholas If-Jesus-Christ-Had-Not-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned BareboneAn Englishman who was the eldest son of Puritan minister and Parliament Member Praise-God Unless-Jesus-Christ-Had-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Barebone, Nicholas If-Jesus-Christ-Had-Not-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Barebone was born in London in the year 1640. A noted 17th century physician, he was an important figure in the rebuilding of London after the Great Fire of 1666. After the fire he pioneered fire insurance, creating some of the first fire insurance policies in history. In his later life he was heavily devoted to economic theory, writing Apology for the Builder: or a Discourse showing the Cause and Effects of the Increase of Building in 1685, A Discourse of Trade in 1690, and A Discourse Concerning Coining the New Money Lighter in 1896. He was known for being very critical of mercantilist trade policies. Nicholas If-Jesus-Christ-Had-Not-Died-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Barebone died in 1698. -- source link
