I thought it was a strange the dye was having trouble taking when I haven’t had any problems with other colors, even lighter colors like pink… I was blaming my toddler for stealing my dye brush. Turns out I had a recalled batch of Extreme Green, pulled for not being the right pigment strength. No harm, but not as good of coverage.
