Having a really bad day with my chronic pain issue… My brain wants to do everything while my body says no. Been living with chronic pains in my body since I was a child, so I’ve got used to it. When people find out, they always say: “Oh, but you look so happy and healthy!” Yes, I know I do, because being happy is a way of dealing with the pain. I try not to let it control my life, but some days are harder than others. Some days I can’t even get out of bed. But I do my best and I try to stay happy and live my life. I do things that makes me happy. This is hard for me to write, but I felt it needed to be written. Right now I am trying to do the dishes, but need to take breaks because it’s too painful to stand so long at a time and my hands will not cooperate. But as soon as the dishes are done, I will dive into my happy place. And that is to write.
