✨This! Finally able to share the cover for #SomeWhereWeAreHuman and announce the release date of June 7th!! A year and a half ago I did not know I would embark on this journey, and I’m sure my tiny middle school migrant #undocumented self would not believe that in the future a library would carry a book that I co-edit , and feature poems, essays, and art work by other #undocumented ( formerly undocumented) folks. This book is a collection of 41 groundbreaking essays, poems, and artwork featuring award-winning writers, artists, and activists, with a foreword by Viet Thanh Nguyen @Viet_t_nguyen . It is a project that comes with love and I’m eternally grateful to the brilliant poets and visual artists and essayist . Special shout outs to the poets because we got to work really close this past two years and your poems will live in my heart for ever. This is for us by us.
