We think “Field of Dreams” is the perfect name for our project expanding the elephant sanctuary. Why? One of the first things rescued eles do when they arrive at our sanctuary is lie down and go into a deep sleep. Just look at Mia below! It’s the first time in years that some of these eles have been able to rest on the soft earth without chains. We’re currently building the Field of Dreams with pools and shelters to make it as healing a home as possible, but we need to expedite the process before the monsoons come.
