Day 12 of 31 days of my favorite scary movies is the 2009 horror comedy Drag Me to Hell. I’ve been a fan of Sam Raimi since the original Evil Dead, and Drag Me to Hell is among his best work. On full display is his instinct for scares and his darkly twisted sense of humor. Alison Lohman does a solid job as the hapless bank loan officer thrown into a terrifying supernatural world.
