questingqueer: [Trans people on hormones who still don’t pass are valid] A lot of us think “when I start HRT I’ll finally stop getting misgendered!” but hormones don’t make you immediately start passing. A lot of us experience some disappointment because we had subconsciously told ourselves all we had to do is survive until we could access medical transition, so the added wait sucks because we’ve had to wait to even be able to start hormones too.
