As usual, somebody is upset because I didn’t tiptoe through my response to their message. Nothing about what I said was condescending, but to be thorough, I’ll walk you through it (here is me actually being a lil’ bit condescending, but sincerely hoping to help you out with understanding me. If you don’t care to, reading on would be a waste of your time):Your original message:“I have a question about the biz. What is it with fake boobs? I see a lot of women start off with pretty small breasts get some ridiculous looking fake boobs. Is there pressure to have big ones? Do women with big boobs get paid more or get more work?“ My response:“Surgically enhanced boobs are pretty common outside the industry. It’s a societal thing. There’s a lot of pressure to reach some ideal beauty for women in all walks of life. It may be statistically different in the industry because it’s based on physical appearance. I like ridiculously large fake boobs. I mean, “fake” is a weird term because they’re real. Real big and cool. But, seriously, they’re still boobs, I think. Aaaand I’m into all boob sizes - natural or not. It’s okay to have preferences, but you’ll often miss out on a lot making judgments about people/their choices before you open your heart to their experiences.”A walk-through:“Surgically enhanced boobs are pretty common outside the industry. It’s a societal thing. There’s a lot of pressure to reach some ideal beauty for women in all walks of life.“ My response to –> “What is it with fake boobs?”“It may be statistically different in the industry because it’s based on physical appearance.” My response to –> “I see a lot of women start off with pretty small breasts get some ridiculous looking fake boobs. It obviously bothers you that people change their bodies in that way, and it really shouldn’t. There’s a ton of porno of performers with smaller/un-enhanced breasts, so it’s not as if there’s a shortage of content for you to get off to. And, it’s their choice anyhow. I get it – when something you admire changes in a way you don’t like, it can be a little disappointing, but when that something is attached a person other than yourself, you really have no place to be deciding whether or not what they do to it is okay. And doing anything else is really self-important; petty. Consider refraining from sending me another message about how upsetting my response is to you. I made a point to be delicate with what I was trying to get across at first, but your most recent message called for a more blunt approach. Hopefully you understand me better now. Also, I can’t answer for every female performer about being pressured. I haven’t experienced it, but that doesn’t mean others haven’t. I don’t know how common it is. How much somebody gets payed for a scene is not based off of their breast type or size, I can tell you that. I think this whole topic speaks upon mainstream beauty standards + capitalist economy more than anything. . but I doubt you messaged me to do anything more than complain about the things women decide to do to their body (that you don’t like). -- source link
