Some Friday inspiration with Hans Memling’s Triptych of Earthly Vanity and Divine Salvatio
Some Friday inspiration with Hans Memling’s Triptych of Earthly Vanity and Divine Salvation, c. 1485. The woman holding a mirror is flanked by Death and the Devil, which makes it a really early example of a Vanitas allegory. -- source link
