I first met this bright quiet kid as an amateur. Even in his teens, you can see in his eyes; a set focus with strong goals in mind, paired with an eagerness for learning and to grow into a top level fighter. When he turned pro i was asked to design his fight suits and right away, I agreed. I felt very blessed and happy to have a small part in his awesome pro boxing team. Through the years I’ve watched him immerse himself into the strenuous fight camps with the same focus and increased determination. His healthy lifestyle has even inspired me to make changes in mine. Oscar Valdez through the years remains a stand out amongst many inside as well as outside of the ring. he is still a very well grounded, amazing individual with a huge humble, caring, heart.
