Some people are in such denial that they believe babies only cry from being strapped down, and that they eventually fall asleep during their circumcisions… Another common myth, also demonstrated in the attached graphic, is that the Plastibell circumcision device is “cutting-free” and completely painless. American doctors have sold circumcision to parents as if it’s nothing more than a belly button wound. Parents have no idea that the foreskin is first ripped from the glans before it can be excised, as the glans and foreskin are fused together in infancy and early childhood/adolescence.
