niji-tan: chesutoberry: whitesnow14: chesutoberry: Here are the screen caps of Sho’s segment on “What’s not learned in Textbooks” (3.01.16) Let me just say that I was really touched on the topic as I remembered during November 11th, 2013 (the same day of Arashi’s Osaka LOVE concert) the horrible typhoon Yolanda struck Philippines in Leyte (Visayan Region). Around that time, my first thought was, “Daamn, Arashi brings in storms…” As I watched this documentary, I thought I would be able to understand the interview part, but funny how they dubbed the guy’s voice to Japanese, so I couldn’t hear the Tagalog parts. (Arashi Tacloban fans (yes there are Tacloban Arashians; I know, I saw one person on Twitter having a bittersweet moment cause she lives 10min away from where Sho went), look for this Abe Chris guy, he was interviewed by Sho!) ___________ But anyways, I am so glad that Sho went to the Philippines and showed us the experience and horror of what the Filipinos went through. I am also shocked that not only it destroyed the area, but also the coral reefs. And lastly, seeing Sho giving respect and condolence to the ones who lost their lives made me so proud and thankful of his work and his humbleness. Sho, thank you for your kindness and humbleness you showed on your experience in Philippines and what you taught us about the tragedy. You have made the Filipino fans proud. Maraming salamat Sakurai Sho. I NEED TO WATCH THIS GEM OMG I provided the link on the source :) ..You can also watch the one which aired on Monday (2016.02.29) here. It’s an 8 minute clip of Sho going to places people ran to during the typhoon.rough translation during the cave bit: “..Although the chapel built by people was destroyed by the winds..I think the basic in nature can’t be confronted if it’s not nature.“ -- source link
