Just watched Captain Marvel a few days ago and the story about Nick Fury and Goose (Chewie in the Comic) struck and chased me for days, in fact so much that I had to do this painting. Mainly because one of our cats look exactly like Goose . This piece is based on a painting from Philip Alexius de László from 1923 but it served rather as inspiration for the strokes, lighting and the general mood I wanted to achieve. .
