youngpeopleofcolorinc:I’m really trying to stay in a positive head space today so I’m going to frame this differently although it breaks my heart. Here is a man who died doing what’s right. Here is a man who died standing up against rape culture. He saw a man harassing and groping 3 women on his college campus and he intervened. It cost him his life. The fact that even men are not safe from the psychosis that says ‘Men can say/ do whatever They want to women and you’ll get hurt too if you try to stop me because THIS IS MY RIGHT’ should be a red flag for all of us. Thank you Donnell. May you rest in power and may your murderer be brought to justice and get the help I suspect he needs.
