CₒZY CₐₛÍₜₐ I’ve been travelling around Mexico for the last couple of months & my journey also took me to my friends´ place in the mountains south of Mexico City. While I was already blown away by the beauty of this magnificent country, visiting the home of my friends Carlos & Sofia made me fall in love head over heels with their home. So I just had to create a set inspired by their little house (casíta means little house in Spanish) - í  was born. I adore the charming style mix, bright colors and all the little details, creating a unique atmosphere, which is just so joyful and yet super cozy. I mixed objects I found in their home (like the wood stove & the lamp) with some furniture created by young Mexican designers (like the armchair) and pieces I just liked. Plus there is a frame in honor of Frida Kahlo of course, who is one of my favorite painters.   As I experienced the Mexican culture as one close to nature and thus spiritualism, I also added a terracotta shrine.
