“Wendigo”2017Ink, graphite and charcoal on Canson Mixed Media paper, 7x10inWendigo are sourced back to Algoniquin folklore and are believed to be created by a human committing cannibalism. It causes them to become insatiably hungry for human flesh, as well as becoming horribly emaciated, tall and lanky, and growing fangs and antlers as well.
