Umbridge is one of my favourite characters. Not in an “I think she was right” or “her actions were justifiable” way (I’m not gonna pretend that she wasn’t an awful, abusive tyrant), and I think a lot of the hate she receives isn’t undeserved. But I really like the way that she reflects so many ‘real life villains’, and since so many of the other villains in the series are portrayed as 'dark scary edgy’ characters, I thought her character was refreshing.
