Evanna Lynch is one of the two child actors who acted well in the movies (the other being Tom Felton) but I have always thought she was too pretty for Luna, and is the main reason Luna gets so much love. In the books Luna is supposed to be much crazier with her conspiracy theories. And she looked like an owl with dirty blonde hair, not a pretty blonde shade. Her eyes are supposed to be weird, white-ish and not blue. However, I would say that her voice was perfect, and even Rowling says Luna is the only character for which she took inspiration from the films when writing them because of Evanna’s voice. -- source link
