folding-corners: I’m about halfway through this fantastic novel, and can say that it’s really one of the best books I’ve ever read. It’s been one of my most anticipated reads this year and my expectations were ridiculously high, so I was surpised to find it even better than expected. “A Little Life” so far is raw, hard, soulcrushing, heartbreaking, and oh so incredibly brilliant. I’m drawn in by the characters and the writing in a way I have never been before - I literally can’t even put into words how much I love it. Read it. Please be careful if you’re triggered by quite literally anything, since the book covers such a vast array of really hard topics, but if you can - read it. It’s great. It’s amazing.
