Austin the girl hails from sunny California, but has been living in St. Louis with her boyfriend for the past year. She’s one of the beautiful Ladies of Metal, and one of the most genuinely sweet human beings we’ve ever encountered. We’re so sad we can’t keep her longer! But big kid responsibilities await her, and she has a real job back home to get back to, so her time with us was short. Next year, we are kidnapping her longer, I’ve already warned her to put in her notice. Austin the boy was a part time presence in our tent, out for the summer hanging with Buttons, an acoustic act in the Basement. You may recognize Austin as the bassist for the band Set It Off. His band was honored with a spot on the tour last year, and he liked it so much that he couldn’t wait to come out and play by himself before his band leaves for the Our Last Night headliner in a couple weeks!
