C., from 50th New York Infantry October 22, 1861. Attached to Woodbury’s Brigade, Army of the Potomac, to April, 1862, and to Engineer Brigade, Army of the Potomac, to June, 1865. Regiment lost during service 1 Officer and 19 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 206 Enlisted men by disease. Total 227. -- source link
