strappedown: A puffy hood like this is all about nullifying noises. Losing vision is one thing, but losing your ability to hear can take you to an entirely different place. If you place those soft foam ear inserts they use for hearing protection at the shooting range into the ear first, it will significantly decrease what you can hear under the padded hood. I have an audio-control hood similar to this that has thick padded sides but there is a panel that snaps open allowing you to insert earphones. If you use the foam ear inserts, and also play white-noise on the inserted earphones, you can hear absolutely nothing. I’m not saying you can’t hear the white-noise…you can. But that is all you can hear. Your mind sort of subtracts that sound after a short while. There is nothing specific in it to for you to focus on so it sort of just drifts to the background. It completely nullifies any noises around you, high or low pitch. When you can’t hear, all you can do is feel. Feel the soft padded hood pillowed around your head. Feel the gag filling your mouth. Feel the restraints across your body. Feel the hand as it slowly edges your cock. -- source link
