Seven of Gears This card is primarily about patience and endurance. Sometimes when we get wrapped up in long-term commitments or projects, it can be easy to lose motivation or patience halfway through, and to stop putting in as much effort as we should. This card is a sign to keep going. In the case of decision-making, it may be wise to take a moment and assess your situation. Look at how far you’ve come, see what you’ve accomplished, and realize what still has to be done. Instead of slugging half-heartedly through a project, stressing out over things you can’t control, or giving up after coming so far, take a moment to look things over. Maybe you have done the best you can already, and now it is time to sit back and wait for results. Maybe you are having a hard time motivating yourself, and you need to take a step back and remember why you are putting such effort into your commitment. Maybe you’ve lost sight of your goals, and you need to re-organize yourself. Commitment in any form is a serious thing, and sometimes it’s okay to say no, or to drop something you’ve been working on. However, in order to reap the rewards of your effort, you must be willing to see your project through to the end. -- source link
