Fortunately, there are many, many ways that you can learn to protect yourself through meditation. Being aware of energies and keeping your energies pure are very important in maintaining a healthy balance in your world. Make sure you are surrounding yourself in a life affirming environment. One easy way to do this is to keep your conversations, relationships, activities, thoughts, and energies positive and loving. It is important to set boundaries, and make sure that those around you are aware that you are only interested in expressing love. Any time a conversation or activity starts to become too negative or murky, gently remind yourself and others involved that you want to remain in a state of positivity. Our energy fields are very important in this realm. Your aura is your protection, and so it must be maintained and nurtured, When you get suddenly upset, your energy field expands quickly and may result in holes and tears in your protective armor. It is important to maintain your calm, and avoid big outbursts. Additionally, poor diet can weaken your aura, as well as excessive drinking and the use of drugs. Being conscious of what goes into your body is an important step in maintaining spiritual protection. Contrariwise, if you are meditating regularly and consciously pursuing constructive thought, you are far more likely to be fully protected. Lastly, you must be fully conscious of your fears. Those things which you fear will be more attracted to your energy, so do your best to remain open in this aspect.
