Haven’t posted til now, but I adopted a 2nd kitty on Sunday. He immediately showed signs of a virus, infection, just Something Wrong. It has been VERY stressful, especially since his reduced sense of smell makes food unappetizing, and meds on an empty stomach are bad news.He’s only take a few bites when I douse his food in the stinkiest tuna juice, and that’s not a guarantee. I can say my apt gets quite ripe in this heat between the cat food in his bowl, my sink, and trashcan. Nightmare for me, because I normally avoid any fish-flavored pet food.Was going to quarantine him anyway so he has time to acclimate to a new space and wait to intro my other cat. But lordy, if they don’t get along after ALL this??? Or new kitty is sick with something major??? I just wanted Ficus to have a roomie for when I go back into the studio! -- source link
